The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is the online portal through which central and state government departments, PSUs and other public bodies buy goods and services. Registering as a seller opens up a large and steady buyer base, even for small businesses.
| Mode | How it works |
|---|---|
| Direct purchase | Small-value orders placed directly on listed products |
| L1 purchase | Buyer compares listed sellers and buys from the lowest price |
| Bid / reverse auction | For higher-value requirements; sellers quote and may compete in an online auction |
Our GeM registration service covers profile setup, vendor assessment and first listings. Need Udyam first? See Udyam registration.
