Changing What Your LLP Does
The business activities of an LLP are set out in its LLP agreement. To start a new line of business or drop an existing one, the partners agree to the change and the LLP agreement is amended accordingly.
The supplementary LLP agreement is then filed with the Registrar in Form 3 within 30 days. If the LLP name reflects the old activity, a name change may also be needed so that the name matches the new business.
