Admitting a New Partner
A new partner can join an LLP with the consent of the existing partners, as provided in the LLP agreement. The admission must be reported to the Registrar in Form 4 within 30 days, along with the new partner’s consent.
If the new partner will be a designated partner, they also need a Director Identification Number (DIN). The LLP agreement is then amended to add the partner, their contribution and profit share, and filed in Form 3 within 30 days.
