The Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) promotes exports of pharmaceutical products under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and issues the RCMC to pharma exporters.
Pharmexcil covers bulk drugs and APIs, formulations, biologicals, diagnostics, surgicals and related products. Pharma exporters also need the right drug licences and, for many markets, product registrations in the importing country.
