What Is Spices Board Registration?
The Spices Board of India regulates and promotes exports of spices. Every exporter of spices listed under the Spices Board Act must hold a Certificate of Registration as Exporter of Spices (CRES).
Exporters register as a merchant exporter or a manufacturer exporter. The CRES is issued for a block period and must be renewed, and it also acts as the exporter’s registration with the Board for trade promotion schemes.
